Cheap Tracked Drill

An early game (andesite age) tracked drill.

Compact!
Due to the compact size, the drill can easily be made into a smaller 3x3 configuration.

[Operation]:

Tank Steering: This vehicle uses tank style steering. This was done to significantly decrease the material cost over using redstone links.

Left Lever: Left track
Middle Lever: Right track
Right Lever: Activate track movement

• Belt tracks are slightly janky when it comes to turning. If the drill doesn't turn properly you will have to quickly toggle the opposite track.

• If you are new to tank steering I recommend turning off the movement when adjusting the steering levers.

• For the drill to dig a perfectly 4x5 tunnel you may have to align it to the grid by running it against a wall or placing blocks beside it. You can also wiggle it in with just the drive controls.
