Schematic by Phishykid, published on CreateMod.com. This page lists what it contains; download the file from the creator’s page.

Medium plane designed to be relatively low-cost yet powerful.

It's powered by two turbocharged modular diesel engines from Create: Diesel Generators and two portable engines. The engines must be turbocharged for this design otherwise they will be overstressed. You can remove some propeller sails if you are too poor for that I guess.

Features:

  • 32,768 su engines generating 37,9kpN.

  • Yaw, pitch, and roll.

  • 95 m/s top speed

  • Altitude and velocity sensors.

  • Grindstone landing gear.

  • 15-0 throttle (it's reversed).

  • Engine toggle lever.

  • Kind of ugly propeller.

Assembly:

  1. Print the schematic

  2. Diesel-ize the fluid tank (Biodiesel ain't gonna work, remove some sails if you want to use it).

  3. Turn on the physics assembler, then break it.

  4. Break the diesel engines and replace them, facing the rotation speed controller (modular diesel engines disconnect and act as two separate engines after physics assembly). Right-click the exposed engine block with a wrench to make it look nicer.

  5. Right-click the engines with a turbocharger.

  6. Place a lever on top of the exposed engine block.

  7. Place an oak stair facing the trapdoor on the right of the engine

  8. Flip up the trapdoors if you want it to look nice.

  9. You may need to reverse the direction of thrust on the propeller bearing.

  10. Fuel the portable engines. To do this, drop your fuel of choice (except for lava bc buckets) onto both dark oak slabs at the top of the plane. Hoppers below will feed the engines for you. You can do this manually, however.

  11. Crank the engine, hop in the seat, right-click the typewriter, then read the controls.

Controls:

  • W / S : Pitch flaps.

  • A / D : Yaw flaps.

  • R / F : Roll flaps.

  • Throttle is in front of you.

To take off, ensure everything is orderly and set throttle to 10-7 (remember it's reversed) and pitch upward. You will need a good amount of runway space.

To fly, throttle 7-2 is most stable and will result in pretty good speed. Yaw is kind of slow at steering by itself, so practice steering with roll. This requires keeping your roll angle constant and using both pitch and yaw to turn. Also, you must note that lower speed is less stable and results in the plane nosing down, so keep the plane going fast.

To land, Lower throttle to 10-8 and pitch downward. Once you approach the ground, lower throttle once more to 12 and slightly pitch upward. When you touchdown, cut off the throttle and turn off the engine if you'd like.

To do a barrel roll, set your throttle to 6-0 and gain altitude until your close to or above cloud level. Then hold either roll key and keep stable altitude by holding W while upright, and S while upside-down until you are upright once again.

Known flaws:

  • Tries to nose-dive at low speed.

  • Impossible to exit the seat during flight, or you'll be blown off of the plane.

  • Kind of ugly propeller.

Known positives:

  • Fast af.

  • Sort of cheap.

  • Good aerobatics. Maybe add more sails to flaps if you need more.

  • Great fuel usage (only 2 mb/s)

  • Can be upgraded with more seats to transport players in multiplayer servers.

This is my first schematic btw.
