Dune Ornithopter "Dragonfly"

So, before anything, this is an absurd vehicle, very expensive, very big, very versatile too, and survival friendly. I´m currently working on making it more practical trough swapping the supercharged portable engines for a level 8 steam engine (or making it smaller over all, then needing a lower level steam engine...)

Its an hybrid between helicopter and plane, as it can hover and stay still, but it behaves like a plane at high speeds, and has the smoothest fly i have ever seen in any aeronautics plane.

Its powered by 30 supercharged portable engines (and one for the crane), and they are hard to reach to refuel in survival, not to mention that you need a stack of blaze cakes for each, but hey, at least you can do it in survival, a very advanced world of course, but you can do it...

It has 8 gyroscopic propeller bearings, side ways, and you can control each pair of them individually if you need to, but thats not how its mainly used.

It has a cockpit with 4 seats, and 5th one outside the cockpit because it serves as a "ladder" to get to the cockpit from the bottom of the ship, bottom that you can access trough a rope crane in case you couldnt park the helicopter in land and left it hovering.

CONTROLS (they are a lot)

SPACE/SHIFT increase/decrease power to both upper propellers (altitude wings)

R/F increase/decrease power to both lower propellers (acceleration wings)

2/3 decrease/increase power to front upper propeller

4/5 decrease/increase power to back upper propeller

6/7 decrease/increase power to front lower propeller

8/9 decrease/increase power to back lower propeller

W/S forwards/backwards

Q/E tilt sideways left/right (plane mode)

A/D rotate left/right (only works like that when stationary, if you are going fast, they function as less steep direction controls)

X = block wings direction (power torsion spring)

C = turbo front wings

V = turbo back wings

L = landing gear (stickers)

B = free fall - turn off everything (keep pressed)

P = parked mode (will retract and turn off all the wings backwards, make sure not to have any blocks in the way, or you will be send flying)

Up/down arrow = rope crane up/down

NOTES:

The "turbo" mechanic is that you activate a redstone switch that powers the gyroscopic propeller bearing which cancels the gyroscopic function, which essentially means you sacrifice altitude for speed because you are forcing it to face completely sideways instead of slightly downwards, essentially functioning as a normal propeller bearing.

Reason why i added individual controls for each wing is because in certain situations you would want to pitch down more or less the nose, maybe you added weight somehow and now is not perfectly balanced, so you have a way to fine tune your pitch, but in general you wont need to use it flying (tho you can, and i encourage you to fly test it for a while, its super smooth and fun to fly)

I wouldnt recommend doing the free fall with the parking button (P) even if thats how it looks in the film, because the movement of the wings backwards will cause undesired and uncontrollable movement, thats why i added a free fall that will not retract the wings.

To climb the rope crane you need the mod climbable ropes, other wise you will need to put a seat at the end of it, sit on it and control the crane with a remote controller to go up.

The goal of my creations is to make them as vanilla aeronautics as possible, meaning no addons that introduce functional blocks (copycats and decoration are fine) and thats the policy i will try to maintain most times, as i will in my Ornithopter v2 with steam engine.
