I introduce to you, Mk2 of my ongoing project to create a highly capable and highly controllable model of the F-22

This is a 1.5/1 scaled up version of the F-22 Raptor, complete with either guided missiles, or unguided rockets, as well as 3 auto cannons to guarantee the downfall of any enemy aircraft. Other systems include thrust vectoring as well as a glass canopy that can fully open.

It is completely survival friendly.

Required Mods:

Create Aeronautics

Create: Propulsion Simulated

Create: Copycats+

Create: Big Cannons
Copycat Sails and Compat

Cbc: Neo Warfare

Create: The Air War (The ground attack version does not require Create: The Air War)

Instructions:

Load the schematic (Rotating the schematic can cause the flares to break).

Power the main accumulator (you can find it behind a trapdoor near the left rear landing gear).

Connect the large connector on the accumulator to the large connectors on the back of each thruster (you can find a second large connector under a trapdoor on the top of the fuselage).

Fuel each of the 4 engines with enough fuel for your entire flight. There is one to the right of the cockpit, one near the front landing gear, and two near the back landing gears (behind seperate trapdoor, one of them is the same trapdoor used to fuel the plane).

Rearm the auto cannons (later versions change this to a rotary cannon on the right of the plane)

Refill the heat traps launchers near the end of the aircraft with heat charges.

Make sure the ailerons, elevators, vertical stabilisers, cockpit canopy, and landing gears are all properly glued.

Assemble the plane

Rotate the valve by the base of the vertical stabilisers once.

Check the glue once more, now you are ready to fly.

Controls:

W - pitch up

S - pitch down

A - roll left

D - roll right

Left Shift - decrease throttle

Space - increase throttle

F - launch a single flare

G - raise/lower landing gears

H - raise/lower cockpit canopy

Tab - fire auto cannons

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 - launch missile (when using the air to air rockets, you have to hold until the missile locks onto the enemy, it may take a while but they will fire once the lock has been attained

7, 8, 9, 0 - launch unguided rockets (only on newer 4.0.2 version)

Up arrow - pitch up using*

Down arrow - pitch down*

Left arrow - yaw left*

Right arrow - yaw right*

* - Use caution, they impact the direction of thrust

Extra Info:

Yes, this build is survival friendly

I would recommend using distant horizons and Seperate Sable Render Distance (SSRD), and if you are using the air to air missiles against stationary targets, amp your simulation distance way up.

I encourage you too use my bomber schematic set on autopilot as a target for the anti air missiles. You would just need Seperate Sable Render Distance (SSRD) to see your targets from far away, as well as a chunk loader ( like carpet mod if you use xaeros world map) to keep the plane flying.

I do plan on making small improvements over time, such as a rotary cannon to make it more realistic.

The plane flies comfortably at an altitude of 250 - 320

The plane does have a tendency to slightly pitch up, this does allow it to somewhat fly itself by pitching up, then down, then pitching back up over and over again.

I would gladly appreciate advice and/or build ideas.

Thanks to all the mod developers, the fact that you can make planes and jets with realistic physics in Minecraft is wild.

And finally, have fun, and happy flying.
