Flying Turret

2DoF Airship turret proof of concept. The furthest thing from survival friendly but very fun to play around with regardless.

I highly recommend downloading the original excraft file and using the aeronautics: toolgun addon to spawn it as this was not made with assembly in mind. I have no idea how well the actual schematic works.

I also highly recommend going into your CBC config>server>cannons>scroll to the bottom and setting your quickfiring breech loading cooldown and quickfiring breech opening cooldown both to 0. It isnt necessary, but full auto will be slightly faster that way

throttle levers on the left control turret movement speed

throttle levers on the right control ship movement speed and flight height

the redstone lamp behind you indicates if full auto is on

arrow keys- turn turret up/down/left/right

w - fly forward

s - fly backward

caps - fly right

f - fly right

a - turn ship left

d - turn ship right

space - shoot

Rshift - full auto switch

If there are issues please tell me in the comments and ill be sure to take this post down and never do anything else about it.

Also just as a PSA: if you use this schematic (or any other schematic for that matter) and all the keybinds in the linked typewriter are missing, that is a bug caused by the Create: Tracks+ addon, either switch to qwxon's original Create: Tracks or ditch it entirely, then try using the schematic again, that will fix it.
