HMS Revere

(Note: now with a re-balanced version for copycats+ weighted. It WILL require the simulated copycats mod for the super heavy copycat slabs (one integrated into the keel as spruce wood and one integrated into the figurehead)

A small airship designed for exploration, with reasonable speed and turn radius. Fairly cheap and early game, but does require a little bit of brass for the throttle lever. This is the first of many designs for an upcoming adventure map I am making, Above the Sky. This is now version 3, I keep on accidentally improving it.

Features:

• Powered by a single portable engine

• Four propellers

• Max altitude is just under y=170 (200+ for copycat+ weighted version, since that mod drastically reduces the weight of copycat layers)

• Single burner

• Has a barrel for storage

• Has an altitude meter

Setup Steps:

• make sure everything is honey glued together, and make sure that the steering fins are glued.

• Ensure that both chain drives (steering and propellers) are connected up properly, sometimes the schematics don't like them.

• Ensure that all of the copycat blocks are correct

• Assemble

• Maybe hit a few of the propellers with a wrench if they aren't going in the right direction

Controls/Mechanisms:

• Steering wheel for turning

• Lever on the clutch for turning propellers on/off (provided the engine is powering them)

• Throttle lever near the burner controls burner strength.
