LM-9 “Skyfang” ( Aerial Mine )

Hello to all engineers of the Create community! As you’ve likely gathered from the project images, I’m excited to present a new class of loitering munition. My primary goal for this design was to balance two key factors: achieving maximum combat effectiveness while maintaining the lowest possible resource cost in terms of both blocks and materials.

This system, designated the LM-9 “Skyfang,” is a versatile platform engineered to give you an edge against a wide range of hostile targets. It comes armed with a standard payload of eight AIM-9X missiles (from the Create: The Air War mod), making it highly effective against airships, helicopters, fighter jets, and even surface vessels like ships and boats. The propulsion is handled by four compact Portable Engines, which generate more than enough Stress to power its main propeller for sustained flight and maneuverability.
