Medieval Trebuchet Siege Weapon

This is a large medieval trebuchet, with a range of around 400 - 450 blocks. It can launch any physics entity, but I would recommend using a big cannons high explosive shell with a wired fuze. Do not use a tnt by itself or a big cannons shell with a impact fuze as they may detonate on launch and blow up the trebuchet.

Set Up:

First, load the schematic

Attach the rope connector on the main beam to the rope connector on the lone sticker

Assemble the lone sticker which will carry the projectile

Assemble the main beam and counterweight by right clicking the swivel bearing near beam and the other one near the counterweight

Assemble the main trebuchet

Attach the sling to the sticker on the base of the trebuchet, leaving the sling sticker clear for a projectile

Attach a projectile to the sticker connected by the rope to the beam, ideally a big cannons high explosive shell with a wired fuze and a redstone link on top to detonate

Aim the trebuchet and fire

Extra Information:

The trebuchet had a range of around 400 - 450 blocks when I tested it, but it can be impacted by simulation distance

I used kelp blocks on the counterweight to keep it cheap, but feel free to use any super heavy block

You can attach any physics entity to the sling, even a seat for you hop in if you so wish
