Plane Prototype

A large plane, powered with a self-sustaining steam engine on-board.

Can fly at speeds over 40 m/s and up to 320 Y level. Uses no torsion springs, adjustable sails can move all 360 degrees.

Controls:

Space to speed up the propellers.
Alt to slow them down.
W and S to turn vertically.
A and D to turn horizontally.

3rd person mode during controlling is recommended.

Setup and startup:

1. Fill the area for pump's water intake with water. (For some reasons, schematics do not always save the water on the structures. If you do not have lava placed for the renewable engine aswell, you also have to fill the pool above the dripstones with it.)

2. Put a bucket in the barrel for the mechanical arm to use.

3. Start up the mechanical pump via the hand crank located next to the steam engines.

4. Assemble the contraption by using the physics assembler in the pilot cabin.

5. Press the button in the corner of the cabin to turn on the engines. (They are initially turned off so the hand crank powering the pumps can work.)

6. Press Space while using the linked controller to accelerate the engines and fly.

The center of mass may be a bit off, so expect it to move not entirely forward. Is very heavy and will crash if you try to make a loop. Has a free room in the middle, right where the entrance is, so you can put your items or your friends there.
