USER GUIDE

Video tutorial for piloting: https://screenrec.com/share/paBko74qLv

S.S. Repulse is an unarmored, lightly armed colony ship. She comes equipped with a workshop, sizeable automatic storage packager, three big cannons connected to radar, and a hefty power plant of 3 lvl 9 steam engines, powering 14 steam vents. The max height exceeds y=250, and the speed tops out at about 21 M/s.

Repulse handles incredibly smoothly, and can be controlled from 3 helm positions: the forward conning tower, bow canopy bridge, and the aft deck house.

Repulse also comes with an enormous fuel capacity, and docking connectors lining each side, for speedy refueling with lava, diesel, or any other liquid fuel.

The ship has a central elevator, which takes you from the lower keel deck, all the way up 6 floors to a compartment in the balloon. When navigating on foot, you'll find the ship has plenty of passages and catwalks for ease of navigation.

When Repulse is built, you will need to fill the copper water tank with water, and remove and reinstall each data link to the guns and radar network. Of course, she will also need refueled!

To pilot Repulse, you will find at each of the three helms a series of linked levers corresponding to the turbines. The redstone lever will switch the port turbine into reverse, and the emerald one will switch the starboard turbine to reverse. The single lapis lever will switch the central balloon turbine into reverse, and the double lapis will switch it off. you will also find a lever marked with a redstone link, which will disengage both the side mounted turbines. To the right of each helm is the speed throttle, and you can also find a stepped lever at each helm which controls the steam vents.

At the tower bridge and the deckhouse, you will find linked levers marked with cartridges and dye. The double cartridge lever is to assemble the forward gun, the red dye lever is for the port wing gun, and the green dye is the starboard wing gun. Be very careful with these guns, as they can do a lot of damage if they are accidentally fired into the hull. Also, do not fire on very close armored targets, or you risk shells ricocheting into Repulse. The guns can be controlled with binoculars linked to the network controller. They are automatically loaded from the spruce chests under each gun. If you need to retool the mechanical arm, make sure it goes in this order:

1: Take a fuzed shell

2: Deposit to cannon mount

3: Deposit empty cartridge to brass funnel

4: Take filled cartridge

5: Deposit to cannon mount

And DO NOT leave the guns assembled once you are done using them, as they can behave unpredictably, and accidentally fire in a wrong direction! And only assemble 2 guns at a time, and never both wing guns.

The elevator pulley is located in the balloon, and will need to be interacted with to assemble the elevator.

There are two radar dishes, one on the keel deck and one at the top of the balloon. You only need one of these, but you will need to connect it via data link to the network controller in the bridge tower, and right click the bearing to get it started.

Each machine in the workshop can be engaged and disengaged by a clutch somewhere.

The fuel pumps must be engaged by turning off the clutches at the back of the workshop. These are right in front of the foremost fuel tanks.

All of the cage lamps around the ship will need to be manually turned on, and the frontlight on the balloon's spike must be turned on with a redstone signal, but the signal doesn't need to persist.

That should be all, let me know if you have any questions, and I hope you enjoy...
