Survival Steamboat

Note: This was made WITHOUT the Create Deep Seas mod. The hull contains vertical slabs from the Clutter No More mod, but the boat will sail just fine without it.

Explore the ocean in comfort and style with this steam-powered boat. The deck has plenty of space for adding beds, storage chests, and anything else you might need on a long voyage.

The boat is controlled manually using levers. There are two steering levers, a forward/reverse lever, and a throttle lever for adjusting speed. The navigation table can be used for automatic steering.

To turn off the propeller, either turn the throttle up to maximum, or use the clutch lever located just above the valve handle.

Throttle levels:

• 0: lowest speed (0.5 m/s without fuel, 2.0 m/s with fuel)

• 11: highest speed (2.1 m/s without fuel, 8.7 m/s with fuel)

• 12-14: stops the propeller, may stall the engine

• 15: stops the propeller

To start the engine:

1. Make sure the trough behind the engine is filled with water.

2. Turn on the clutch lever.

3. Turn the valve handle until the engine starts.
