Overview This is a fully self-sustaining, modular steam engine consisting of 4 identical Tier-9 units, suitable for connecting more T36POMSEM modules for higher output.

  • Full Name: Tier-36 Planar-Omnidirectional Modular Steam Engine Module

  • Output: 589,824 Stress Units (SU)

Initial Setup & Priming

  1. Place the module in the chosen location and verify all 13 water reservoirs are filled (4 top, 4 bottom, 2 per side, 1 starter).

  2. Fill all cauldrons on the upper level with lava to speed up the initial process.

  3. Place 2 empty buckets into the Spout system fed by the dripstone cauldrons.

  4. Set the Brass Funnel filters:

    • Empty Bucket filter under the Spout.

    • Lava Bucket filter coming out of the Spout.

  5. The Mechanical Arm will feed all 36 Blaze Burners and return empty buckets to the Spout.

Startup Sequence

  1. Ensure the Rotation Speed Controller target speed is set to at least 80 RPM.

  2. Insert 1 Dried Kelp Block into one of the Portable Engines.

  3. Allow 3 minutes and 20 seconds for the system to reach full operation.

Grid Expansion Rules To connect multiple T36POMSEMs, arrange the modules in a matrix network of any chosen size.

  • Modules must be connected in perpendicular directions only (forward, backward, left, right) without diagonal shifts.

  • Use the Chain Conveyors located above the Drive Shafts to link neighboring modules.

  • This rectangular layout keeps all connection points and service corridors aligned in a straight line.

Monitoring & Control

  • Attach Display Links to the top Speedometer and Stressometers to monitor rotational speed, total capacity, used capacity, and remaining capacity.

  • Shutdown System: Connect the internal Redstone Link (Receiver) to an external Redstone Link (Transmitter) paired with a Pulse Extender and a Button.

    • Wood Button: Set Pulse Extender to 3 seconds.

    • Stone Button: Set Pulse Extender to 4-5 seconds.
