If anything isn't glued correctly, honey glue the obstacles accordingly. (Update: Added honey glue references)
The starting gate uses 2 overlapping areas of super glue and you may have to replace the mechanical bearing and set it to Only Place When Anchor Destroyed for it to work as intended.
