U-Boat Instructions (UPDATED!)

UPDATE

Added a clutch at the back of the engine that must be turned on after powering the engines. This helps prevent the Omni Speed Controllers from breaking.

The diving and surfacing controls have also been reworked.

The submarine can now dive much deeper.

Controls

• W = Forward

• S = Backward

• A = Left

• D = Right

• Hold Ctrl = Dive

• Hold Space = Surface

• F (Toggle) = Auto Cruise

• S = Stop Auto Cruise

• Shift (Toggle) = Increase Speed

• C = Right Torpedo

• X = Left Torpedo

If the Controls Are Reversed

Sometimes pasting the submarine can cause the controls to become reversed.

If the submarine automatically dives when powered on, change the direction of the Omni Speed Controller located above the chain drive near the engine at the back.

If all of the movement controls are reversed, swap the connections on the Link Typewriter.

Basically, if everything is backwards, swap the connections.

Torpedo Mod

Make sure to install Mianbao's NewModernWarfare.

It is currently the only mod with a working torpedo for the current version of Aeronautics.

The torpedo system is simple, but make sure to reset the Mechanical Arm in the torpedo room at the front of the submarine.

The Mechanical Arm cannot properly feed the torpedo tubes, so I use a Deployer instead.

Make sure to load the Deployer with a Torpedo (item), NOT the Torpedo (block).

Recommended Propeller Speed

Set the Submarine Propeller Speed to 20 in Create Deep Seas.

The default propeller speed is too slow for the submarine.
