The GRUBB_Y personal airship is a mobile base designed for quick exploration and easy use. Powered by an infinite level 3 steam engine, the GRUBB_Y's dual rotors can easily reach speeds of 50 m/s in just a few seconds, combining the power of fighter jets with the utility of traditional airship bases.

The Sploing steering system also provides customizable steering options! Don't like the default turning speed? Wrench the spring at the bottom of the airship! If you REALLY want to personalize your steering, you can also shorten the spring! Sploing steering systems also do not require any power. This airship can lift into the air, and rotate around, without ANY power!

(Larger and longer sploings will generally turn much faster. I recommend you to slightly shorten the sploing if you want to make it larger, as the large spring is pretty difficult to control)

Don't need a large storage system? Not to worry! The steam engine already has some extra stress available, so you can remove a bit of the storage vault, and instead place in a mini workshop!

The GRUBB_Y seeks to be far in the sky. By default, it will pivot upwards until it reaches ~290y. Using the valve at the back of the ship will alleviate the overall tilt of the ship as it rises, making it generally travel at around

CHECKLIST BEFORE ASSEMBLING:

  • If the spring under the ship is bugged, replace it. By default, the spring is extended to it's max length, and is normal size.

  • Fill in the fluids on the steam engine. Use the door on the right side of the ship to access where the water needs to go. The lava goes above each dripstone cauldron. (FIRE TICK SHOULD BE OFF!)

  • Place an empty bucket (or lava bucket) on the depot.

  • Turn on the clutch near the back of the ship. This will disable power to the rotors and the flaps.

  • OPTIONAL: Fill cauldrons with extra lava, so you don't have to wait 20 minutes for the cauldrons to fill up.

After completing these tasks, you are now free to assemble your GRUBB_Y airship. The engine jumpstart motor is located near the back of the airship, ANY fuel will work. (i tested with a single bamboo, and it came to life just fine :D)
