The H-II (Hauler class II) Grasshopper is a light cargo aircraft designed to bring supplies to troops on the front lines and escape quickly. It is capable of quickly landing and taking off from the ground (hence the name) or ejecting it's cargo mid-flight, which is usually done when flying in a combat zone, since it is unarmed and has little to no armour. Grasshopper pilots are trained to evade enemy fire and to move as quickly as possible while maintaining some degree of precision.

Lore (I will expand on this with later schematics):

The Grasshopper was one of the first aircraft developed by the Crutonian Air Force, being finalized just 16 years after Crutonia's founding, in the year 1216 AB. The Grasshopper is the oldest Crutonian aircraft that is still in use. It was first used in the the First Pioneer War between Crutonia and the Paoera States. It is famously nearly worshipped by Crutonian Infantry following it's instrumental role in the Battle of Moria. It remains a reliable yet capable staple of the Crutonian Air Force.

Fun fact: Sir Alwin Hayes was first trained as a Grasshopper pilot.

Setup guide:

  1. Place a physics assembler, use it, then break it

  2. Reverse the direction all three Rotational Speed Controllers (Yes I know I can change these in the schematic but I am exceedingly lazy)

  3. Break and replace the two modular diesel engines

  4. Fill tanks with fuel

  5. Use the hand crank on the left side for 5-10 seconds to get some fuel in the engines

  6. Turn off the lever above the engines inside to turn them on

  7. Away you go!

Piloting Guide:

The throttle lever controls the speed on the lift props, and the analog lever gives you some extra control over them too (I usually set it to 8 or 10). Use standard WASD controls for forward/backward and turning. Q toggles the stickers, and the lever behind the throttle extends the docking connector. Cargo capacity is whatever you can shove in the back. There is also a sticker controlled by a button in the cargo bay for locking onto cargo.

Specs:

Type: Aircraft, helicopter

Class: Hauler II

Power source: Two modular diesel engines

Compatible fuel: Diesel, Biodiesel, or Gasoline

Propulsion: Two lift props and two thrust props

Navigation: None

Cargo capacity: Standard 2x4 cargo vault, anything bigger causes instability

Sorry if I went a little overboard with this description, I know the actual quality of the schematic isn't exactly groundbreaking but I do plan to expand the universe, or the lore or whatever you want to call it with further schematics!
