HMS Hermes

A moderately sized airship designed for exploration, with reasonable speed and turn radius. Fairly cheap and early game, but does require a little bit of brass for the throttle lever. This is the second design for my upcoming adventure map Above the Sky.

Features:

• Powered by a single portable engine

• Four propellers

• Max altitude is just under y=255 (277 if copycat+ weighted is installed, alongside the general compatibility mod for sable and create addons)

• Single burner

• Has two barrels and an ender chest for storage

• Has an altitude meter

Setup Steps:

• make sure everything is honey glued together, and make sure that the steering fins are glued.

• Ensure that chain drives are connected

• Ensure that all of the copycat blocks are correct

• Assemble

• Maybe hit a few of the propellers with a wrench if they aren't going in the right direction

Controls/Mechanisms:

• Steering wheel for turning

• Levers on the directional gearshift for forward and reverse (the one on the left (facing the front of the ship) should be forward, and the one on the right should be reverse.

• Throttle lever near the burner controls burner strength.
