This is a bomber based off of the Boeing B-52 Stratofortress. It includes a basic flight systems, a bomb bay, as well as autopilot capable of circling a designated location over and over again.

It is completely survival friendly, with no levitate or endstone.

Mod Requirements:

I designed this version to be as modpack friendly as possible, but it still does require

Create: Aeronautics

Create: Big Cannons

Create: Diesel Generators

Instructions:

Load the schematic

Head into the plane and fill the tank near the back with diesel/alternatives

Give some fuel to the engine above the walkway near the fuel tank to start the generators

Ensure that the spoilerons, elevators, and rudder have all been glued

You may have to replace the display links, there are two on the altitude meter perpendicular the door, and one on a velocity meter below the altitude meter (you may have to go around to access it)

Supply the deployers in the bomb bay with explosives (High Explosive shells with an impact fuze from CBC are preferred, but tnt should get the job done)

Set a target by placing a lodestone then setting a compass to that lodestone, then replacing the compass in the navigation table near the cockpit with that compass.

Controls:

W - pitch up

S - pitch down

A - roll left

D - roll right

Tab - turn on/off propellors

Space - increase throttle

Left Shift - decrease throttle

Q - yaw left

E - yaw right

B - open bomb bay

i - activate altitude hold (altitude meter), usually holds at a round Y=215, but can vary based on engine power. Only activate at a higher altitude (~150+) or manually fight against it to prevent the plane from pitching too far up

O - activate navigation system to the lodestone coordinates

P - activate mid flight stabilisation (gimbal sensor)

\ - activate docking connector for mid flight/automatic fueling (it is located at the top of the fuselage)

Drop bombs - flick on and off the lever near the end of the bomb bay, close to the piston and red seat. If you want you can switch the lever to a redstone link to control everything from the cockpit, but I left it as a lever for immersion

Open/close cargo door - flick on/off the lever right at the end of the fuselage interior, located on a gearshift. You should just be able to follow the path all the way back to the cargo door, then it will be on the left.

Extra Information:

I would recommend using distant horizons or a high render distance to see targets from far away

It does fly relatively well, but bombing is quite hard due to the speed of the plane

I do plan on making a version that is less modpack friendly, but more effective and B52 like in the future

I'd appreciate ideas of advice for future builds

Thanks to the mod developers for making this possible

Have fun, and happy flying.
