HMS Zephyr

A fairly large airship designed for exploration, with reasonable speed and turn radius. somewhat expensive, but still early game, though it does require a little bit of brass for the throttle lever. This is the third design for my upcoming adventure map Above the Sky.

Features:

• Powered by four portable engines

• Four Propeller bearings with 20 sails each

• Max altitude is around 283-284 regardless of weight addons installed

• Four burners

• Has four barrels and an ender chest for storage

• Has a bed to set your spawnpoint

• Has an altitude meter

Setup Steps:

• make sure everything is honey glued together, and make sure that the steering fins are glued.

• Ensure that chain drives are connected

• Ensure that all of the copycat blocks are correct

• Assemble

• Maybe swap a few of the propeller bearings if they aren't going in the right direction

Controls/Mechanisms:

• Steering wheel for turning

• Levers on the directional gearshift for forward and reverse (the one on the left (facing the front of the ship) should be forward, and the one on the right should be reverse.

• Throttle lever near the steering wheel controls burner strength.
